kclsocieties is a free listing of student society events, run by Armaan Naseem. Not affiliated with King's College London or KCLSU.

  • Event details are read automatically from societies' public Instagram posts and can be incomplete or wrong. Always check the original post, which every event links to, before you go.
  • Events, posts and logos belong to the societies that published them. We show short factual details and link back to the source.
  • The site is provided as it is, without guarantees, and may change or stop at any time.
  • Societies can ask to be removed at any time.

Hi, I'm Armaan!

I'm a 2nd Year BSc AI & Philosophy student at KCL. I'm very interested in AI Safety, Machine Learning, and Startups (I cofounded my first startup the day after my last A Level exam).

I made this website because I noticed I'd always miss society events I wanted to go to since they'd appear on my Instagram feed a day or two after they'd already finished. I noticed a couple people had this problem so I put it up on this website. It works by checking the Instagram posts of all the KCL societies, and then uses AI to figure out what the event is, and at what time, from the pictures societies post about events. It also automatically updates every day as societies continue posting.

Fun fact: this website was made in a single day.

A 3D model of Claudocle: a round glass monocle that clips onto glasses, with a small projector inside
Claudocle

Other than this I work on a bunch of other stuff. One example is "Claudocle". It's a little glass monocle that clips on top of your glasses. Inside it there's a projector for you to see a computer screen inside your glasses. I wanted this so I could have my Claude Code terminal on my glasses wherever I go, since I get a lot of ideas for projects and wanted a way to jump-start a project immediately from wherever I am (so I don't forget the idea), and do complex data analysis on whatever topic from no matter where.

If you have any thoughts of this website feel free to email, and just say hi if you see me around.

Kind regards,
Armaan Naseem
